Mr. Joao Jamal has been appointed Managing Director of Grid2Grid LLC (G2G) operations in Lusophone Africa. Joao is an entrepreneur who has started and led many companies and projects focusing on infrastructure and agriculture. He also heads an NGO that seeks to promote development in the Zambezi Valley. Joao will be based in Maputo. On joining G2G Joao said “I have been a strong advocate for the involvement of U.S. companies and investors in Mozambique and indeed in Lusophone Africa. I look forward to working with G2G and its partners to bring to Mozambique investors who are interested in making an impact on society and creating projects that are sustainable.” At the same time G2G is announcing the initiation of coverage for its clients of Mauritania, Guinea and Ivory Coast effective immediately. This brings the total number of countries covered by G2G for its clients in Africa to 20.
