Peter Sinon Joins as Managing Partner, Francophone Africa
Metropolitan Washington DC – Monday September 14th, 2015.
Mr. Peter Sinon has joined G2G as Managing Partner for Francophone Africa. Peter brings a wealth of experience to the company having served as Seychelles first Ambassador to South Africa (2000/03), Executive Director for East Africa at the African Development Bank (2000/10), Minister of Investment, Natural Resources and Industry (2010/12) and Minister of Natural Resources for the Seychelles (2012/15).
Peter’s responsibilities will include leading, managing and implementing all of G2G projects in Francophone Africa. His Pan African experience will also be utilized on a project by project basis throughout the continent.
On joining G2G Peter said “I am looking forward to providing my expertise to clients interested in investing in Africa. I believe that the continent’s economic growth story is just beginning. In this vain I am also look forward to providing our clients with more insights into prospects for investments into Francophone Africa, an area that is by and large still overlooked by foreign investors most of whom tend to concentrate on Anglophone Africa.”
Peter is a graduate of the School of Development Studies at the University of East Anglia (UEA) at Nowrich in the UK. He has a B.A. in Development Studies and an M.A in Development Economics. Peter will be based out of Victoria, in the Seychelles.
